About NORC
A naturally occurring retirement community (NORC) is a community with a growing population of older adults living in homes not originally intended for older adults.
Our home consists of two spacious, well-maintained condominium buildings built in the 1980s. Over the years they have evolved into the very definition of a NORC.
About IVV
Islington Vertical Village (IVV) is a group of volunteers seeking ways to further healthy aging in place by building social connections, increasing well-being, and enhancing the lives of all who live here. Sharing residents’ ideas, interests, skills and resources we can join together in building a caring and inclusive community.
