When it is Pancake Tuesday and the Recreation Centre has been locked down for the past two weeks because of a flood, what are you supposed to do? If you are lucky, you may have good neighbours who offer to open their home for breakfast, and serve up the festive pancakes and coffee. Thank you to Lorraine and Tom for your gracious hospitality and for organizing the whole thing on short notice.
While the rec centre is being repaired we may have to think outside the box to keep our Islington Vertical Village connected and active. It’s not the first time we’ve had to rise to a challenge.
